individual bios

Zach Mason is a writer/director who has studied performance and writing under JC Calcerano, Ali Farahnakian, Will Hines, Kevin Mullaney, Beth Newell, Sarah Pappalardo and many more. He was a founding member of the Washington Improv Theater (WIT) Harold team Diviglio. Zach has performed in New York as part of the Del Close Marathon and at the Kennedy Center as part of WIT’s Unpaged to Stage show.  He hosted the podcast Like Yes and was the co-creator/co-director―with Lura Barber―of the improvised funeral show In Lieu of Flowers. His writing has appeared in The Threepenny Review.

Kristin O’Brien is a Washington, DC based comedy writer and performer who studied improv under Caroline Pettit, Kate Symes, Alex Bellisle, Jaime Moyer, Patrick Noth, and many more. She formerly performed with the Washington Improv Theater (WIT) Harold team Diviglio.  She is currently performing with, and a founding member of, the indie improv team The Quitters. The Quitters have played Charm City Comedy Festival (Baltimore), Baltimore Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon (NYC), and SteelStacks (PA) for the last three years. The Quitters perform regularly in DC at The Unified Scene Theater, Source, and Highwood Theater. She is currently stage manager for the Washington Improv Theater (WIT) special project show In Lieu of Flowers.
